June 2025

Pleasure Pixel attended the 27th Congress of the World Association of Sexual Health (WAS2025) and wow are we inspired, exhausted and excited all at once! The 27th Congress of the World Association for Sexual Health was dedicated to advancing sexual health, rights, justice and pleasure, for everyone, every where and every time.

The Congress provided the very latest research in sexual health from across the world, there were many conversations around disability and sexuality which was refreshing and amazing to be a part of.

During the Congress, the Sexual Justice Symposium was convened to hear from people around the world on their perspectives and experiences of sexual injustice and how we as a world leading association can make a Declaration of Sexual Justice. Following the symposium was a more intimate sexual justice consultation with delegates of the Congress. This gave opportunity for the community to share their perspectives and to contribute to the Declaration.

The Declaration of Sexual Justice was formally ratified at the General Assembly on June 18, 2025 and presented at the closing ceremony of the 27th Congress of WAS with the Declaration being read out by contributing members on June 19, 2025.
